David Fisher has passed away.
Born on April 13 1929, Fisher wrote the Tom Baker Doctor Who stories The Stones of Blood, The Androids of Tara, The Creature from the Pit & The Leisure Hive and provided the original story for another City of Death which was then written by then producer Graham Williams and then script editor Douglas Adams under the pseudonym.
Williams and Adams predeceased Fisher and Fisher is the last of the three writers on City of Death to come to that city itself on January 10 2018 just three months before his 89th birthday.










Bella Emberg has passed away.

Born September 16 1937, Bella Emberg appeared in Doctor Who first in uncredited roles in The Silurians Episode 6 (1970) playing Nurse and then in The Time Warrior Part 4 (1974) playing Kitchen Maid.

She later had a credited Doctor Who role in 2006 in Love & Monsters playing Mrs Croot. She then reprised Mrs Croot in the 2006 Christmas Special The Runaway Bride but her scene was cut from the final print.

She also appeared in Doomwatch also in uncredited roles in You Killed Toby Wren playing Woman and The Islanders (1971) playing St Simons’ Islander.

Other work included Callan, The Tomorrow People & History of the World Part 1.

She died on January 12 2018 at the age of 80.
