Eurosport gears up for the 2017-2018 Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding World Cup
As the wintersport season begins to peak, so does Eurosport’s live and exclusive coverage of the Freestyle Skiing and Snowboarding World Cup events leading into the 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

Freestyle Skiing - World Cup Moguls
Britteny Cox, Matt Graham and Brodie Summers will lead the charge as the Australian team gear up for the season launch of the mogul’s world cup in Ruka, Finland on 10 December. The Aussies are no strangers when it comes to success at this event with Matt Graham finishing second and golden girl, Britteny Cox, taking first place in the 2016 world championship.
Snowboarding - World Cup Half-pipe
Scotty James, will be hoping to fine tune his bag of tricks at the Snowboard halfpipe World Cup kicking off at Copper Mountain, USA on 10 December. The 2017 world champion looks to become Australia’s first ever men’s snowboarding medalist at the Winter Olympic Games.
Snowboarding - World Cup Snowboard-Cross
Resuming midway through December, the Snowboard Cross World Cup will see the world’s best winter athletes travel throughout Europe. Starting at hotspot Val Thorens, France, on December 13, it continues in Cervinia, Italy, on 22 December. All eyes will be on two-time world champion Australian, Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin, currently sitting in the leader board top spot, followed in close pursuit by fellow Australians, Adam Lambert, in ninth and Jarryd Hughes in 10th position. In the 2016-17 season World Cup Aussie Belle Brockhoff finished in third place.
Freestyle Skiing - World Cup Aerials
Danielle Scott will be coming out all gun’s blazing after narrowly missing out on the World Cup title last season, finishing second overall with 447.00 points. Joining Scott representing team Australia on 16 December will be 2010 Vancouver Olympic gold medalist and Sochi 2014 bronze medalist, Lydia Lassila.
In the men’s events, 2014 Winter Olympic silver medalist, David Morris, will carry Australia’s hopes. Morris is the first Aussie male to jump at two Olympic Games’ and is also the first to win a medal in the event.
