Released in 2021, Batman: The Long Halloween is a two part animated movie and so far I have seen the first part.
This stars Jensen Ackles as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
Also featuring Naya Rivera as Catwoman/Selina Kyle. Sadly Rivera died in a drowning in 2020 the year before The Long Halloween’s releases and therefore it is dedicated to her memory.
Part One is an enthralling first half of The Long Halloween as it starts off with a witness against mob boss Carmine “The Roman” Falcone being killed off.
This witness was killed by a mysterious figure known as Holiday who leaves a jack o’lantern behind.
Batman is determined to find out who this Holiday is and eventually the Joker comes into this as he escaped from Arkham Asylum.
Fascinating that at the near end of Part One a shooting took place at a yacht.
Part One ends with an eerie post-credits scene with the entrance of Poison Ivy and what she she did to Bruce.
This ultimately has Harvey Dent becoming Two-Face and what a revelation on who Holiday turned out.
Quite a surprise the post-credits scene presents.
