The results of Whirlpool's 2009 Australian Broadband Survey are now available.
The survey was conducted over a four week period — from 1 January to 1 February 2010, during which it was successfully completed and verified a total of 23,683 times.
The results show a significant opposition to the government's ISP filtering plan, with only 7.4% indicating support. It also reveals that over 90% of respondents believe they could easily circumvent the filter if it was in place.
The survey also covers consumers' attitudes on a wide variety of topics relating to their choice of broadband ISP and hardware.
