Nine debuts London Olympics packages to ad buyers
The Nine Network last night introduced ad-buyers to its coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Games, as the 2-year countdown to the event begun.
Nine CEO David Gyngell told around 350 guests at the Willoughby launch that Nine would go to market with 18 sponsorship packages including four at the highest level which are expected to reap $10m each. Gyngell rallied the Nine troops assembled for the launch, and boldly declared under his watch the Network is focusing on News, Current Affairs, quality Australian drama series and great sports events. Nine will start on-air Olympic promos six months out from the Games and former gold medal winners now signed to the network, Grant Hackett and Giaan Rooney, will be available to work with sponsors. |
Can't get excited about the London Olympics, the time zone is just wrong for Australia.
