Telstra customers in dark over outage
 

Telstra customers south of Brisbane remain in the dark over a cable outage that has left subscription television and broadband internet users disconnected for more than 18 hours.

Customers in the Robertson and Mt Gravatt area have had no access since the Telstra cables went out at about 5.45pm yesterday.

Telstra customer Marcus, who did not want his surname revealed, told brisbanetimes.com.au his family leased out a rental property in Robertson.

The German students arrived this weekend and have found themselves without television and internet access.

“The students can't even talk to their parents on Skype or email them,” Marcus said.

“I have contacted Telstra support twice last night and twice this morning. They don't know or don't want to say what's going on."
