Suncorp, Bendigo, Adelaide join ATMs
 

Suncorp Metway and Bendigo and Adelaide Bank have flicked the 'on' switch on their enlarged, combined automatic teller machine (ATM) network.

The two regional banks said on Monday their 2.4 million customers now had access to a combined ATM network comprising 2000 machines across Australia, and without incurring a direct fee.

A partnership between the banks to set up the combined network was announced last December.

The network went live on Monday, more than three months later than originally planned.

It has 400 more ATMs than previously announced.
