and when you ask them if they'd like our standard size they say yes thats exactly what i want..
and then you say thats 3.20 and then they say no 2.60..
and you say so thats a small size and they're like yeah

Actually, after finding bugger all on the net (even the SOH website), I found it on a teletext news item on Saturday (the Toppy records teletext).

It's a World Vision concert.


Thankfully I'll be working that night.

No-one is making you watch it - there's the ABC, SBS and the "On/Off" switch ya know! ;)

Eddie wouldn't be too bad if you go for collingwood. but as i go for ESSENDON i hate him.

And to show how "United" the networks are.....


In QLD, Channel 9 (and WIN and NBN) are showing the concert live at 5:30pm.

All other channels are showing it on a one hour delay at 6:30pm.

Kinda loses the effect.

Also, looks like each network are providing "hosts" to supplement the actual concert.

Nine Brisbane now starts at 6:30pm.

Looks like NBN is the only one going alone live at 5:30pm.


I've only seen the ad on Nine. Seems like they are using VO ppl from all 3 networks.

Is it the same ad on all 3 networks?

I hate it when some people go through a drive through bottle shop...

They PARK their car in the drive through... get out of the car... into the shop to buy what they want - WHILE I'M BEHIND THEM WAITING FOR MY DRIVE THROUGH SERVICE!!!!

Like the woman the other day, when I was doing my shopping, took in more than 8 items through the "8 items or less" line.

Although I've seen this happen before, this is the one time, IN THE HISTORY OF MANKIND, the checkout girl made a stand and asked her to go a normal checkout.

Much to my surprise, and astonishment, the woman said...

"Ok, I'll pay for these ten items separately, and these other eight items separately", and then separated her goods into two neat distinct piles.

As angry as I became, it was overcome by my sympathy for that poor girl behind the counter.

I hate vandals and graffiti artists who tag up and destroy my train station where i work.

I also hate blokes who stalk women around said station!
