Easter Host Change

Mark, Dave or maybe someone else should be able to confirm this for me.
When Easter comes and you change over to a different host will we keep our current post counts and will all the threads that are currently on be deleted or simply moved over.

Nothing should be lost, it's just a case of moving all the code and doing a database backup and restore. The code will be there a few days before the biggest delay will be the DNS propagation as I point the knowfirst.info domain to a new server.

I'd like some feedback on the speed, the new host is connected to 12 US back bones, using OC192 (644mb/s) connections.

But we changed hosts becuase I can do automatic database backups over night and they guarantee 99.9% uptime.

Who would guess the Domain Registrar's web site would be down for close to 12 hours so we couldn't propagate the DNS to the new Host.

Dave the new speed is much faster in my opinion just loads straight away used to have to wait about 0.7 seconds for it to start loading.

I can only access this via the auspaytv address the original so far tells me to wait for propagation
