Two Penrith Panthers players have been involved in a scuffle outside a hotel in Sydney's North West.
New South Wales origin hopeful Michael Jennings and Masada Iosefa were involved in a brawl with bouncers outside the Mean Fiddler at Rouse Hill late last night.
Both players aged 21, were asked to leave the hotel at around 11 o'clock.
They apparently did so, but returned 20 minutes later when a brawl broke out with a number of security guards.
Police were called to the scene and were forced to use capsicum spray on Iosefa after he fled the scene and resisted police.
It is believed a number of Panthers players were at the hotel to celebrate Jennings' birthday
Iosefa has been charged with affray and will face Hornsby Local Court next month.
Jennings is still being questioned over the incident.
Both players will meet with club officials including coach Matt Elliott to explain their actions.
Michael Jennings profile has risen this year with the centre being touted as a possible bolter for NSW after declaring his eligibility earlier this week.
