ONE offering coming up on Seven in the new year, which won't set the ratings on fire but may make people think, is The Real Sea Change.
Hosted by John Howard, the real one from the original SeaChange series, not the one in Canberra, it turns the whole sea change concept into a semi-reality show.
Whole families, couples and singles will be followed as they take the big leap and turn away from the rat race, either headed for the coast or the hills.
According to Seven, it doesn't always work, and that's where it hopes the drama will come in.
Apparently some people go searching for paradise and uncover a nightmare, with disappearing life savings the price of failure.
